Wow, this is awesome and a hell of a wonderful surprise. A Jenny Hval side project with one of her backup band mates and it’s really top-notch, worthy of a lot of hooplah and a bigger release. Improvised then overdubbed with studio trickery, this is layered and dense electronic/indie-pop genius with Jenny’s gorgeous vocals harmonizing all over it. At times it sounds like 80s sci-fi movie music and other times reminds us of great bands like Mum and Boards Of Canada (damn we reference them a lot). This entire album is gold , highly recommended!!
