Born and raised in Chicago, Wasulu Muhammad Jaco was a bookish kid who wrote poems and idolized jazz clarinetist Benny Goodman. Once struck by beats and rhymes, the renamed Lupe Fiasco made his own to celebrate what he loved. On these ten original recordings, several Grammy -nominated- Lupe turns his swinging lyricism to food, skateboarding, fashion shows, religion, and Black history.
