It was submitted as a demo by the artist, who wishes to remain anonymous due to their involvement with a low-profile religious organization. Sonically the album drifts between heady atmospheric meditations, spaced-out ambient processionals and ecstatic otherworldly vignettes. The artist utilizes a plethora of synthesizers alongside digital bells, harps, rhodes, lap steel, marimbas, flutes and their own captured field recordings. Inspired by their personal revelations and growth, Aliens Are Real is a surreal listen; traveling from the Earth’s soil to the far-reaching depths of the cosmos.
