Three young women venture deep into the woods of central Illinois to hunt for a local legend known as The Hawthorne Hag. Led by aspiring documentary filmmaker Tara Cordell, the girls set out to capture The Hag on camera for the first time. But within this forest, other, more sinister dangers are lurking.
Limited edition cassette featuring Ryan Aldrich's original Soundtrack for the 2023 horror film, Hunting for the Hag. Side A contains the film's score, and side B contains additional pieces inspired by the film, as well as the Main Title theme.
Dark and moody, the score embodies the terror of these women as they descend into the woods... seeking answers but finding only dread and bloodshed. The foggy, synth-laden atmosphere provides a bed of foreboding uncertainty with washes of chaotic noise and pulsing rhythmic tension.... leading the protagonists further and further down a path of danger, from threats both human and inhuman.
