New - Velveteen - My Dreams Are Changing - LP

My Dreams Are Changing is the new 6-track EP from London noise-rock/shoegaze outfit Velveteen. Following a brief hiatus after their 2022 release Empty Crush, the four-piece returned to the studio in 2025 to track their most expansive work to date.

Written and recorded collectively by the band and mixed/mastered by Anthony Chapman, the record is raw, distorted, and feedback-intensive. The classic hallmarks of 90s noise-rock are evident throughout, vocals are buried deep beneath a crushing wall of noise, and guitars are pushed into a state of far-out, total saturation. It is a dense, immersive exploration of hazy atmospheres and abrasive textures.
